Breaking: Tribunal sacks Darius Ishaku, declares Aisha Alhassan governor of Taraba State

The election of the Taraba State governor, Arc. Darius Ishaku of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was on Saturday nullified by the state Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja.

The Tribunal headed by Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar declared the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Senator Aisha Jumai Alhassan now minister-designate‎, as the bona-fide winner of the governorship election.
